Questions parents ask
Which bike or scooter is right for my child?
The Oxelo B900 scooter works from 18 months. The Btwin RUNRIDE 500 10" balance bike suits about 2–4 years (85–105 cm), and the RUNRIDE 900 12" and Oxelo B500 scooter suit about 3–5 years. Not sure? Reply to our confirmation email with your child's age and height and we'll bring the right one.
Is it safe? Do you provide a helmet?
Yes. Every rental includes a free Btwin PLAY 100 helmet (EN 1078 certified) in size XXS, XS or S. We fit it on delivery. All bikes, scooters and helmets are checked and cleaned before every rental. Toddlers should always ride under adult supervision, ideally in pedestrian areas and parks.
How do delivery and pickup work?
Choose a delivery date, time and address (hotel, apartment or B&B in Rome) and a pickup time. We bring the ride, adjust the seat or handlebar and fit the helmet. At the end of your rental we collect it from the same address. We deliver and collect anywhere in Rome, every day between 9:00 and 19:00, and delivery and pickup are free. Please book at least 24 hours ahead.
How do I pay?
You pay on delivery, in cash or by card. We carry a contactless card reader that accepts all major cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. There is no online payment.
How is the price calculated?
€10 per 24 hours, from delivery to pickup, rounded up. For example, delivery Monday at 10:00 and pickup Wednesday at 12:00 counts as 3 days = €30.
What if it rains?
No problem. If rain is forecast for your delivery day, just reply to your confirmation email and we'll move your delivery to another day or cancel it, free of charge.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, always for free. Nothing is paid in advance, so just reply to your confirmation email, ideally as early as you can, to change the time, the ride or the address, or to cancel.
